  Recently, I took a return into this store manager. I had to wait while she took a call about a new employee. The new employee was a low income woman an agency had placed at cato. This manager could care less about helping this new employee - she spoke rudely about the woman and tried hard to get the agency to place the woman elsewhere. This manager bragged she was a hard ass to the employee. I couldn't believe how this manager was talking so I could hear. When it was my turn to do my return - this manager tried her hard ass act on me. I let he demean me and treat me like dirt until the return was finally finished. What is funny is this low quality manager insulted a person who once managed 17 states of apparel stores, taught textiles design, and advanced tailoring. So, who is the low level one after all. It wasn't the employee placed there to gain help in the work force and it wasn't this retired top sales director of 17 states and professor of textiles. Sorry, Deming Cato, but you really need to hire professionals.
